POLICE were called after a man was found dead at his Plymouth home.

The 58-year-old was discovered by a friend at a terraced house in St

Judes yesterday afternoon.

Police and ambulance crews went to

Grenville Road after they were alerted at 12.55pm. A force spokesman

said it appeared the man had died suddenly, and confirmed: "We are not

treating the death as suspicious."

A report was yesterday being

prepared for the coroner. Police had not yesterday released the name of

the dead man because his family had not been informed.
