Man in 70s has chest injuries after three car crash
A MAN in his 70s taken to hospital after an accident on Friday is thought to have suffered a "broken breast plate", police have said.
A force spokesman said the casualty from the crash, just after 7pm in Leyford Lane, Plymstock, had not suffered "life-changing" injuries. Police had no details of a second reported casualty.
Three vehicles were involved in the accident and firefighters used hydraulic equipment and small tools to cut the man free.
The road remained closed for three hours.
