Man charged over £1,000 train criminal damage and assault
A 20 year old man from Buckfastleigh has been charged with assault with intent to resist arrest following an incident near Totnes yesterday.
Officers were called to Staverton Railway Station at lunchtime following a report that a man assaulted a member of the railway staff. He was held at the scene until police arrived.

Christopher Margrie was arrested by police and subsequently interviewed.
He was interviewed and also charged with criminal damage to a number of carriage windows.
