Man charged with murder over death of Plymouth pensioner Michael Brincat
Police have today charged a 52-year-old Plymouth man, Brian Anthony Short, with the murder of 76-year-old Michael Brincat of Marlborough House, Granby Way, Devonport.
Short is currently remanded in police custody and will appear at Plymouth Magistrates Court on Monday.

The body of Michael Brincat, 76, known to locals as 'Maltese Mike', was discovered inside his Devonport flat last Wednesday.
Police said he may have been asphyxiated.
