Man charged after bill went unpaid at bed and breakfast

A MAN has been charged in connection with an offense where a substantial bill was run up in a bed a breakfast by a guest who left without paying.

A 56-year-old man from the Exeter area has been charged with bilking in connection with the incident at a bed and breakfast in Yelverton - as well as burglary in Swansea and Bury St Edmunds, going equipped in Colyton, bilking in South Molton, Camelford and Tintagel, theft of communion wine in Ide and theft of charity boxes at Okehampton.

David Hughes who is presently of no fixed address faces charges dating to between 2007 (Camelford) and October 2012 (South Molton).

He was arrested on 24 October 2012 at Colyton.
