Man cleared of theft and assault by Plymouth jury

A MAN has been cleared by a jury of theft and assault.

Matthew Taylor, aged 27, of Budshead Road in Whitleigh, had denied the common assault of a woman and theft of her driving licence in February.

Taylor was found not guilty of both offences after a trial at Plymouth Crown Court.
