AN accident on the A38 caused chaos for commuters yesterday morning.
Police were called to an incident on the A38 at South Brent, near to the Wrangaton turn-off, after a blue VW Golf and black Ford Fiesta collided at around 7.30am.
One lane on the eastbound side of the carriageway was closed for around an hour causing long tailbacks, police said.
No one was injured in the accident.
THE South West Coast Path's revamped website has been awarded with five stars by the website magazine Web User.
It has also been recognised by the Daily Mail in a website of the week review describing it as 'particularly impressive'.
According to the magazine Web User, www.southwestcoastpath.com, contains a host of "useful new content", including a Walk Finder tool that helps walkers to plan strolls according to difficulty level and plenty of 'breathtaking photos and videos that will soon have you strapping on your walking boots and heading way out west'.
The Daily Mail praised its 'interactive map, which walkers can zoom in and out of, looking for easy, moderate and challenging walks which can then be downloaded', as well as the fact that walkers can 'fly over a 3D version of the walk, thanks to Google Earth technology'.
The South West Coast Path was also voted the nation's best coast path by Coast magazine.
