A MAN has appeared before a judge to deny a £46,000 benefit fraud.

Kim Smith, aged 56, is set to face trial by jury on three charges.

Smith, of Eastern Avenue, Liskeard, denied dishonestly failing to notify a change of circumstances which would affect his benefit claim when he appeared at Plymouth Crown Court.

He is said to have failed to declare a pension from the Department for Work and Pensions.
