Man denies sex attack charges
A STOKE man is to face trial after denying two sex attacks and multiple child pornography charges.
Matthew Butcher denied all 11 counts against him when he appeared at Plymouth Crown Court.
Butcher, aged 34 and from Wilton Street, denied sexually assaulting one boy between March 1 and April 30, 2008 and another between April 5 and April 10 last year.
He also pleaded not guilty to eight charges of making indecent photos at Levels 1-4 between November 26, 2007 and June last year.
Butcher also pleaded not guilty to possessing around 600 indecent photos and movies of children at Levels 1-4 between November 2007 and March 14 this year.
Level 1 is the least serious and Level 5 the most serious of child pornography categories.
Butcher's trial, on a date to be fixed next year, is set to last at least three days.
