Man to fight takeaway Asbo ban
A MAN banned from city takeaways at night is to contest an anti-social behaviour order.
Sonny Parsons, 20, who has convictions for assault, affray and public disorder, was banned under the interim order from any takeaway in the city between 8pm and 4am. In his absence magistrates agreed a six-month order with 10 provisions.
Parsons, of Boringdon Avenue in St Budeaux, is under a 9pm-7am curfew and is banned from the centre of St Budeaux.
The city council is now applying for a full order in the same terms but lasting several years.
At a hearing to fix a date for a trial to decide whether the order should be granted, Parsons told magistrates he was contesting the order and they adjourned the case for a week for Parsons' solicitor to consider the council's papers. He will appear again on December 15.
