Man fined for door distress
A MAN has been fined for repeatedly banging on a woman's door late at night, a court heard.
Shaun Walters, aged 29, knocked on the friend's door for at least 30 minutes, Plymouth magistrates were told.
Walters, of Shapleys Gardens, Plymstock, admitted threatening behaviour causing alarm or distress on November 24.
He also pleaded guilty to failing to answer bail and surrender at the court on December 10.

Jenny Calder, for the Crown Prosecution Service, said the woman first called the police at 3.15am, saying Walters was banging at the door.
She added the woman made a second call and police operators could clearly hear banging sounds down the phone.
Bill LaHive, for Walters, said the woman was a childhood friend and he had wanted to discuss something with her, but she did not want to answer the door.
He added Walters needed surgery to deal with a shoulder which kept dislocating.
Magistrates fined him £180 for the two offences.
They also ordered that he pay £30 costs and £20 victim surcharge.
