Man headbutted in road rage attack on Plymouth road
POLICE are appealing for witnesses after an unprovoked road rage incident.
The incident happened between 4.20pm and 4.25pm yesterday afternoon on the Manadon flyover.
It involved a blue "old style" Vauxhall Astra and a silver Aston Martin Vantage.
Officers said the male driver of the Silver Aston Martin was assaulted by the male passenger of the Astra.

It is believed one of the vehicles cut in front of the other before they both stopped on the chevrons on the Manadon flyover, over the Park Way, in the direction of Crownhill.
According to police, the male passenger of the Astra got out of the car and after a verbal altercation with the driver of the Vantage, head-butted the man.
The driver of the Aston Martin suffered swelling and cuts to his nose.
At this point, the female driver of the Astra, described as large and white, drove off in the direction of Crownhill leaving the offender to run off by foot, also in the direction of Crownhill.
The Astra's registration number is K585 RLU.
Police have described the offender as a white male, in his late teens with ginger hair that is short on the sides but with a longer fringe on the top. He is of thin build and was wearing a navy long sleeved top and dark trousers.
PC Pete Riley, investigating the assault, said: "This was an unprovoked incident that got a bit out of hand following a beep of the horn."

“@ Dan_Spartan ,I've never seen any report of road rage that states the driver committing the offense was driving a beaten up car. Can you post a link to such a story and then you can rest your case. This report merely states an older style Astra, could be a concourse example, one that the owner is extremely proud of. Your comment does not have any ring of truth to it.”

It is not what you have but who you are that counts. It really does sound like you have the attitude of anyone whose car is not as good as yours is a loser.
There is common etiquette between all human beings regardless of how much money they happened to have spent on their car.
