Man injured as car flips into a ditch in Plymouth
FIREFIGHTERS used cutting gear to free a man trapped in a car which had overturned into a ditch.
Crews from Camels Head and Crownhill were sent to the incident near Ham Green Plantation, at Bickleigh, at just before noon yesterday after reports a man was trapped inside.
On arrival the firefighters found the vehicle on its side with the man still inside.
They used hydraulic cutting equipment and a winch to open up the vehicle to allow paramedics from the South Western Ambulance Service to treat the man at the scene.
