Man jailed for hiding Securitas heist cash taken in Britain's biggest robbery
A man who hid thousands of pounds stolen in Britain's biggest cash robbery has been jailed for 20 months.
John Jeeves, 36, stored £103,650 under the floorboards at an address in Greenwich, south-east London.
Prosecutors said some of the money stored by Jeeves – found in July 2008 – was linked to the £53 million Securitas depot heist in Tonbridge, Kent in February 2006. Police had found £12,000 of it in Securitas cash bags.
