Man struck in the face

POLICE are appealing for information after a man was attacked outside a pub.

A 23-year-old man was punched in the face outside The Ship pub on the Barbican at 9.30pm on August 23.

Police say the victim suffered a cut lip in the "unprovoked" assault.

The suspect is described as white in his mid 20s, 5ft 9ins tall, with ginger hair and a dark tan. He was wearing a white T-shirt and three-quarter length tan coloured trousers.
