Drunk man called police officer a James Blunt
A DRUNKEN man called a police officer a "James Blunt", a court heard.
Adrian Parsons, aged 45, used the rhyming slang as officers moved in to restrain him at Plymouth Railway Station, city magistrates were told.

Parsons, from Bath, admitted being drunk and disorderly on New Year's Eve.
Claire Tresidder, for the Crown Prosecution Service, said officers were summoned because Parsons and another man were seen to be drunk.

She added he tried to buy alcohol from the Spar shop but was refused.
Miss Tresidder said: "He swore at an officer and he called him a James Blunt, it was obvious what the word was he intended to use."
She added he struggled as police tried to restrain him.
Serena Aylett, for Parsons, said he had been in custody since 6pm the previous day.
She added he was an alcoholic but was trying to tackle his habit.
Magistrates fined him £100 and ordered that he pay a victim surcharge of £20, but wiped out the sums because of the time he has spent in custody.
