THE city branch of a national conservation charity is holding a meeting tonight.

The Marine Conservation Society's Plymouth branch event will include a talk about the marine diversity project on the Isles of Scilly by Angie Gall of the Wildlife Trust.

The meeting is being held at the Marine Biological Association, Citadel Hill, Plymouth Hoe, from 7pm.

And the group is also holding a beach clean at Batten Bay, Mount Batten, this Saturday with volunteers asked to meet at 11am.
