Marines miss out in rugby clash
ROYAL Marines were frozen out of the score-line when they met Naval Air Command on a snowy rugby field at RNAS Yeovilton in Somerset.
In a replay of last year's Inter-Command final, the Marines failed to capitalise on a training camp with the Exeter Chiefs.
The Marines were first into the attack, driving into their opponents' 22. They won four penalties against a strong Naval Air defence, but failed to convert.
Naval Air's forwards turned the tables, sending No 8, Naval Airman Joji Voyasala, over the line twice. Conversions put them into a comfortable half-time lead of 12-0.

The second half started with a third try for Air Command, who then held firm on 17-0 until the final whistle.
Meanwhile, Plymouth Command beat Naval Base challengers from Portsmouth 42-5 in round two of the Royal Navy Rugby Union inter-command competition.
