London must win their final two games to also finish 12-6 and pip Marjon for fourth spot on the head-to-head between the two rivals.
Earlier this month, London won the reverse contest against Marjon in the capital 63-60. London host Worcester II tomorrow and then Ipswich this Sunday.
Marjon edged Saturday's first quarter against London 16-15 before the visitors nicked the second 20-18 to lead 35-34.
London continued to edge the final 20 minutes 33-31.
Big-man Shane Hennessey and guard Jamie Davies led Marjon with 14 points apiece, supported by 13 points from Michal Czynienik.
If Marjon make the post-season, they will visit Division Three North champions Huddersfield, crowned yesterday, in the first round on March 23 or 24.
