Masked man tries to rob Plymouth shop
A MASKED man tried to rob a shop in Plymouth, demanding money before fleeing empty-handed.
Officers say a man wearing a black balaclava entered Freeman’s General Store on Ringmore Way just before 8pm on Friday and demanded money.

But the would-be robber fled empty handed in the direction of nearby playing fields.
He is described as a white man, about 5’4 to 5’6 in height, wearing a black balaclava, black jacket, and distinctive black gloves with white writing across the knuckles.
Anyone with information regarding the incident, or who can identify the man, is urged to call the police on 08452 777444 quoting log 816 of March 12.
