Meeting venue has a smoking shelter
TODAY sees another letter from the ever inventive pen of Steve Marketis.
I am truly disappointed he feels unable to attend the next Viable meeting but I understand someone so knowledgeable about all aspects of air travel must have considerable calls upon his time.
I also suspect he doesn't want to air his considerable views regarding rail travel as Andy Byford has merely been a General Manager of London Underground, Operations Director for Southern Trains and Operations and Safety Director for South Eastern Trains so would obviously have to bow to Steve's superior expertise in the field of transport. It's a great pity that the Sutton Harbour Group, who had no experience of running an airport, didn't consult Steve on how to run it.
Yes, the people of Viable are extraordinary, they have stood up and fought for their beliefs instead of standing on the side-lines and watching Plymouth become a satellite town of Exeter.

As for the third reason for declining – what nobility! A man who is prepared to risk any of the many smoking related diseases just so we non-smokers don't have to pay more tax. The Future Inn is non-smoking but does have smoking shelters and I am quite sure some Viable members would be happy to spend some time there answering any questions that Steve may like to ask.
