Million-dollar idea to fund a trek in Scott's footsteps
A PLYMOUTH creative agency has revisited the "million dollar homepage" internet phenomenon to help an Antarctic explorer's fund-raising mission in memory of Captain Scott.
Real Fusion Creative has designed its own take on the homepage to promote Antony Jinman's forthcoming memorial expedition to the South Pole.

Mr Jinman, from Plymouth, hopes to raise £1 million to fund the International Scott Centenary Expedition, which leaves for the Antarctic next January.
The million-dollar website was the brainchild of Wiltshire student Alex Tew, who, in 2005, sold a million pixels of advertising space at one US dollar each to companies to fund his university course.
The idea was an internet sensation, with Mr Tew achieving his target in five months.
Real Fusion Creative, based at Tamar Science Park, is using a similar model to help Mr Jinman by giving a limited number of companies the chance to sponsor the event through buying advertising space on the home page of the expedition website.
The homepage features a map of the Antarctic region and sponsors are invited to take advertising space in the form of a "campsite".
Web developer Jeremy Yelland, designed the site and said: "With just over 200 advertising slots available, the Scott Memorial Map homepage isn't on the same scale as Alex's million dollar homepage, but it was a model that worked spectacularly so we thought we would try our own take on it.
"It won't make us a million but it will go some way to helping Antony achieve his target for what is a worthwhile and poignant expedition, particularly given Scott's links to Plymouth."
Real Fusion Creative was formed in 2009 by Mr Yelland and Justin Smith.
