Missing diver located "safe and well" in Plymouth Sound

A diver who was reported overdue from his boat has been found uninjured in Plymouth Sound.

Brixham Coastguard said the Plymouth inshore lifeboat and Police RIBs started searching for the missing diver at 11.30am.

The man in his thirties was located near the Mewstone.

A spokesman for Brixham Coastguard said: "The man had come away from his dive vessel, which had one other person onboard.
