Newquay...1 Plymouth Argyle Ladies...5

EMILY MOUSLEY continued her impressive form with four goals in a South West Combination game that Argyle dominated.

Their Cornish opponents were no match on the day as Argyle's young side continues to improve week on week.

It took Argyle 20 minutes to open their account when Laura Perrett provided a pass from the right for Mousley to net from six yards out.

From a free-kick Argyle went two-up. Captain Katie Middleton's long diagonal ball eluded the home defence and Mousley was on hand to turn the ball in.

Mousley completed her hat-trick when she blasted home from the penalty spot following a handball.

Michaela Phillips, making her return in the Argyle goal after a lengthy lay-off was untroubled until Newquay's Becky Atkins scored with an unstoppable free-kick just before the break.

In the second half, Jodie Chubb carried the ball into Newquay's penalty area and calmly slotted past the home 'keeper for number four.

Mousley was on hand to finish a Steph Beck corner from close range three minutes from time.

Plymstock United Ladies...3 Cheltenham Town...2

PLYMSTOCK United Ladies survived a late Cheltenham rally to win 3-2 in the South West Women's League Premier Division.

United rode their luck early on and took the lead when Eden May opened her account with a brilliant strike.

Plymstock were then awarded a free-kick and Carmen Thornton thumped the ball into the top corner to give United a two-goal lead.

In the second half, United increased their lead when Megan Platt sprung the offside trap to finish smartly. Cheltenham pulled a goal back from a free-kick which deceived Rachel Cain in the United goal.

Cheltenham got their second with two minutes remaining with a great finish and piled on the pressure, but United stood firm.

Dobwalls...1 MAP Ladies...2

MARINE Academy Ladies came away from Cornwall with three points, but were pushed all the way by hosts Dobwalls in the West Division.

MAP saw the game out to claim their fifth consecutive victory.

MAP manager Alan Thomas said: "We have played really well in the last few weeks and were disappointed with our performance, but we managed to nick the three points to keep the run going."

In the second half Dobwalls broke the deadlock when hesitancy in the MAP defence allowed the Dobwalls centre-forward to squeeze the ball inside the near post off 'keeper Laura Maguire.

The hosts' tails were up but the match turned on its head with 15 minutes to go.

Lively MAP forward Kate Nicholls latched onto a through ball before firing across the 'keeper into the corner.

The home side were suddenly hanging on and Drewery got the winner after full-back Elizabeth Stanley sent over a free-kick, getting the faintest of touches on its way into the net.

Heavitree...2 AFC Plympton Ladies...5

AFC PLYMPTON Ladies travelled to Heavitree in the Westward Developments Devon Women's League and returned with all three points after a 5-2 win.

AFC took control early on with Sam Metters scoring two goals and giving AFC a 2-0 half-time lead.

In the second half, Heavitree scored with their first attack, but only minutes later Chelsea Robinson restored the two-goal cushion with a curling shot from the edge of the box.

The game then got bad tempered, but AFC held it together and scored a fourth, again through Robinson from the edge of the box.

Heavitree scored a brilliant second direct from a free-kick before Chez Phillips ran through to score Plympton's fifth.
