Mystery victim still in hospital after incident on September 2

A MAN who sustained a serious fracture to the skull in mysterious circumstances remains in hospital.

Police launched an appeal after the man suffered a bleed on the brain from an incident he knows little about.

The 48-year-old was admitted to hospital on Sunday September 2.

He had left The Eagle pub in Cornwall Street at about 8pm and when he returned around an hour later he was found to have a severe injury to the right side of his head, police said.

The man was taken to Derriford Hospital where police said he remains in a stable condition.
