BMW has reported its best ever February sales figures. The group said it delivered 133,630 vehicles, an increase of 4.7%, with year-to-date sales climbing 7.1% to 256,929 vehicles.
Latest figures from the Finance & Leasing Association (FLA) show that the number of new cars bought using dealer finance grew by 28% in January.
Fiat has been confirmed as the brand with the lowest average CO2 emissions in Europe among the best-selling automotive brands, with an average of 119.8 g/km. It's the sixth consecutive year it has got the accolade.

The new Skoda Octavia has been awarded five-star safety rating. The Octavia has up to nine airbags and assistance systems such as fatigue recognition.
British Car Auction's latest Pulse report shows that the headline average used car value declined by 1.1% in February, although year-on-year values were up by 13%. Average used car values remained above £7,000 for the third consecutive month.
Ford took the top two places in February's new car registration league table, released by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders. There were 3,350 Focuses sold, with 2,881 Fiestas.
