Neglect case man appears in court
A MAN has denied mistreating or neglecting five vulnerable people under his care.
Lewis Moore, aged 20, appeared at Plymouth Crown Court charged in relation to three women and two men who lacked mental capacity.
Moore, of Millwood Drive, Leigham, pleaded not guilty to five offences between November last year and this January.
Judge Paul Darlow released Moore on bail until January 16, when he is due to stand trial over three days.

THE next meeting of The Pensioners and Fifty Plus Group takes place on Friday.
Held on the second Friday of each month, the group meets at the Wolseley Trust Community Building, 27 Wolseley Close, Plymouth, from 10.30am until 1pm.
There is easy access, parking and the building is on many bus routes. Anyone over the age of 50 is welcome to join the group, helping them fight for the rights of today's pensioners. This month they will be celebrating Christmas with children from Eggbuckland School providing entertainment by singing.
SPARE seats are available on a trip to Bristol organised by the Plymouth Twinning Association.
The coach leaves Plymouth at several pick up points on Saturday and returns the same day.

THE next lunchtime lecture of Plymouth Proprietary Library takes place tomorrow.
Entitled No Room at the Inn? Homelessness, Theology and Christmas, the lecture is to be given by Rev David Nixon of Stoke Damerel and St Aubyns Churches.
Guests and visitors are welcome to attend the event being held at 111 North Hill, Plymouth, between 12pm and 1pm.
