A NEW kitchen will give volunteers at an allotments project the chance to enjoy the fruits of their labour on the spot. The Lord Mayor of Plymouth formally opened the kitchen at Diggin' It in Penlee Way, Stoke.

"The kitchen will allow us to deliver sessions such as cookery and craft making all year round," education outreach worker Dave Smith said.
