New reporters announced for The Herald's community pages

THE popular community pages that appear every week day in The Herald have new reporters designated for each area.

As we continue to cover stories from every corner of the city keeping you informed of what's going on, you now have a new point of contact for many areas.

On a Monday, Claire Jones will continue to report on Plympton with Rebecca Ricks.

Now Sian Davies will be out and about looking for stories in Keyham, North Prospect, Ham, Ford, Morice Town, Stoke, Devonport, Stonehouse and the City Centre on a Tuesday.

Sam Blackledge has taken over the reins on all that's going on in Mutley, Greenbank, Efford, Lipson, Laira, Mount Gould, the East End, Higher Compton, Hartley, Mannamead and Peverell on a Thursday.

And on a Friday Patrick Daly is covering the patch of Ernesettle, St Budeaux, Barne Barton, Kings Tamerton, Weston Mill, Honicknowle, Whitleigh, Tamerton Foliot, Southway, Widewell, Glenholt, Estover, Derriford, Manadon, Crownhill, Eggbuckland, Leigham and Mainstone.

    “So .... no reporters for SE cornwall (Saltash and Rame Peninsular) the south Hams or Tavistock... our contribution and/or events to Plymouth are obviously not newsworthy despite these areas being within commuting distance”
