VIDEO: Face of Plymouth 2010 winners named at glittering finale ceremony
AFTER a nail-biting fashion showdown our new Faces of Plymouth can be revealed.
Myles Easton and Jessica Harmsworth have been chosen as the latest top model winners after wowing the judges during a fantastic evening of top entertainment last night.
-

The Plymouth Pavilions audience was whipped into a frenzy by presenters Josh Andrews and Karly Wilson who encouraged the crowds to scream, shout and make as much noise as they could to cheer on their favourite finalists.
And the party atmosphere got everyone in the mood to dance with live musical performances from city songbirds Lauren Dyson and David Benassi.
And with top pop favourites from the likes of Lady Gaga and the Black Eyed Peas booming out across the arena, our fab 16 finalists had every chance to show off their dance moves and keep the crowds entertained.
Each of the entrants did their city and themselves proud, taking a turn down the specially designed runway in everything from this season's hottest trends to ball gowns and fancy dress costumes.
Their determination and professionalism left the judges with the very difficult job of deciding who would go on to represent the city for next year.
Hartley-girl and Britain's Next Top Model winner Mecia Simson joined the judging panel as a special guest, using her industry knowledge to spot the next two catwalk stars of the future.
For more gossip about this year's event, don't forget to grab a copy of The Herald this Monday for a special pull out supplement with behind the scenes photographs as well as more shots from the fun-filled finale.

“FOP 10 was a fantastic entertaining show. So much hard work goes into the arranging, organising and delivering but it certainly paid off. What a pity there can only be 2 "faces"!! Whilst all the girls were good the boys were brilliant!! They made the show with their fun performances!! Well done to all involved it was excellent.”

“No Rick, we should all sit around worrying about the disasters of the world. That sounds amazingly fun(!!)
Get a grip. It's a local competition that brings people together and is something positive and fun. No, I haven't entered this comp myself and don't have anything to do with it bit I'm sick of reading the dull people of plymouth's comments on here. The people that are so negative and complain about everything! Maybe you should take a look at yourself and establish why you are this way? Just a thought.
Well done to all involved in the competition this year! Plus, PCG Tog, I agree. The Plymouth calendar girls competition final this coming Thursday in oceana is going to be fun! Great way to raise money for st lukes :-)”

“What an important event this has become, and how apt that the 'erald devotes so much coverage to it.
People may be starving in parts of the world, North korea may be sabre rattling, and the BP oil disaster is going to take years to sort out.
But never mind, here in 'erald-land we have the FOP to keep us tickety-boo.
Dumbing down? Never.”
