IVYBRIDGE and OPMs insist they will show each other the greatest respect in a David and Goliath Devon Intermediate Cup clash tonight.

It will be the third time the two club's have tried to stage the quarter-final, the other two attempts being washed out by the weather.

The floodlit match at Ivybridge's Cross-in-Hand ground, which starts at 7.30pm, pits Western Counties West's Ivybridge against Cornwall-Devon League representatives OPMs.

Goliaths Ivybridge, a division above their Plymouth opponents and on their own patch, are clear favourites.

But Ivybridge senior coach Neil Thomson said: "They (OPMs) are underdogs on paper, but we will be treating them with a lot of respect.

"They have nothing to lose and it would be something to humble us. They will be 100 per cent up for it.

"The condition of the field will be heavy and it will be a great leveller, plus it's a local derby. We're not taking anything for granted."

Ivybridge will not name their team until this evening, but it is likely that winger George de Mondonca will play some part in the proceedings after returning from a serious shoulder injury.

Second-row Dom Loomes, who has also been sidelined with injury, is set to be make first-team return.

OPMs' assistant head coach, Steve Luffman, said: "We're taking it seriously, because you've got to show respect.

"If you put out a weakened team, it could go a bit ugly for you, so we're going out to try and win it.

"A win would be a massive upset, so you never know what might happen."

OPMs (from): Lloyd Inward, Jake Aquilina, Rich Brown, Matt Glastonbury, Kevin Souster, Tom Clenaghan, Ed Steven, Rhys Phillips, Harry Stephenson, Jake Luffman, Chris Harmer, Gavin Rae, Justin Morton, Martin Skelly, Tom Finnie, Henry Matthews, Richard Morton, Sam Morton.
