ROTHERHAM have moved up to seventh position in League Two after back-to-back wins over the past week.

The Millers started the season as hot favourites to win the title, but were only 13th in the table before their trip to Aldershot Town last Saturday.

Rotherham won 3-0 at Aldershot as their often-outspoken manager Steve Evans (right) returned to the dug-out after serving a six-match stadium ban.

Evans was punished by the FA in September for using abusive and insulting words and behaviour with a reference to gender while he was still the boss at Crawley Town last season.

Rotherham followed up their victory over Aldershot with a 2-1 home defeat of Morecambe on Tuesday.

The visitors took the lead in the first half, but striker Daniel Nardiello scored twice after the break to secure a fifth home league win of the season for the Millers.

Rotherham snapped up Lee Frecklington on a one-month loan from Peterborough United before the game against Aldershot.

He has started the last two matches in the centre of midfield with former Argyle player Kari Arnason.

Goalkeeper Scott Shearer has been sidelined by a knee operation so Andy Warrington is deputising for him.

“Evans is, without doubt, one of the most hated managers in the football league. You'll struggle to find anyone who has a nice word to say about him. He's a loud mouth yob who should, in my opinion, be thrown out the game.

Greensensible, you should be careful how you spend your state benefits and hand outs, might need to increase your Big Issue sales over the weekend, scrounger.”

“they should move higher up the league again on saturday then with a guaranteed win, all they need are a few free kicks along with a few corners score 1 or 2 which they will ! game over as not muh chance of a reply from a strikerless , toothless other side, tho they do play football lol !”
