Open day at Snowsports Centre
BUDDING skiers and snowboarders are being invited to hit the slopes at an open day this weekend.
Plymouth Snowsports Centre Open Day, taking place on Saturday, will showcase everything the centre has to offer, with taster sessions in tubing, tobogganing, skiing – including tots – and snowboarding.
From 3pm onwards visitors are invited to head to the viewing area to watch or compete in a Racing Competition, and from 6pm a Freestyle Competition. Dartmoor Zoological Park, Southwest Garrison,The Edge Snowsports, 2 Seasons, Hero Energy Mints, Lib Tech, Gnu and Roxy will also be in attendance.
There will also be a bouncy castle, face painting and henna tattoos, and a display from the instructors and the tots who regularly attend Saturday Club.
