I READ with disgust about the number of people needing hospital treatment after drinking too much alcohol, including a lot of young people.

I think to use the National Health Service for this purpose is disgusting when there are people who need their service more. I suggest a fee of £100 should be paid to the NHS for all this self-inflicted drunkenness.

Posters pointing this out should be put up in all nightclubs and pubs by law. I object to paying tax, partly to pay for drunks to be picked up free and probably laugh about it the next day.
