THERE'S less than a week to go for Plymouth-based photography competition, but organisers want to hear from more young snappers.

The RIBA Plymouth branch want photographers to capture the very essence of this fine city in 2012 "through, and highlighting contrasts in, the city and its built environment".

The competition is open to all, but organisers have yet to have many submissions for the category of under 16s.

On offer to the young snappers is a first prize of £150, a second prize of £100 and a third prize of £75.
