Photographic equipment and jewellery worth £5k stolen from Ashburton home

A large amount of jewellery, along with numerous items of digital equipment, has been stolen from a house in Ashburton.

Thieves forced their way through a double-glazed rear door between 10:30am on Sunday, February 17 and 9:30am on Monday, February 18 at a house in Roborough Gardens.

  1. Policeman

Computer and photographic equipment together with a large amount of jewellery worth £5,000 was stolen.

Some of the items included a silver Panasonic camera, a Western Digital portable hard drive and a mobile phone.

    “I hope the police are focussed on developing a plan to catch the culprit. They should take a wide angled approach so they can gather all the evidence before they zoom in on the perpetrator and snap the bracelets on.”
