ARGYLE completed a routine victory over United to book their place in the semi-finals.
Emily Mousley gave Argyle a third minute lead, netting from close in, but stubborn resistance from the home side made them wait until the half hour mark to increase their lead. Steph Beck was on target following a pass from Mousley.
Two goals in a minute just before the break – from Beck and Mousley – effectively secured Argyle's place in the last four.

The Pilgrims were again dominant in the second half and Sarah Stacey netted in the 53rd minute with a deft glancing header at the near post after good work on the left by Mousley.
And Mousley completed her hat-trick from a Bassett cross from the left. She added her fourth soon after to round off the scoring.

MARINE were edged out in the last eight by Combination League side Exeter City.
The visitors started the brighter of the sides and got into good attacking positions in the opening stages, but as the half wore on the home side created the better chances as the score remained blank at the interval.
It was Exeter who opened the scoring after the resumption, but Marine were level when Grace O'Leary passed to winger Sophie Smith who put the ball into centre forward Kate Nicholls and she calmly placed the ball across the 'keeper and into the far corner.
Two quick Exeter goals put the hosts back in charge, but rather than accept defeat meekly, MAP clawed their way into the match.
Midfielder Sam Drewery was becoming increasingly influential and she picked out Georgie Talbot who found Nicholls.
Nicholls' first shot was saved but she reacted quickest to beat the 'keeper at her near post with the rebound.
Exeter almost restored their two-goal lead immediately. MAP gambled in search of a equaliser and Stanley was well beaten by a vicious drive only to see the ball strike the woodwork.
The last 10 minutes belonged to the city side, however, and only a last ditch tackle denied Marine's Talbot getting in a shot when through on goal.
And with virtually the last kick of the game an interchange on the edge of the box resulted in Drewey striking a shot which whistled past the upright with the 'keeper rooted to the spot to deny Marine the chance to take the tie into extra time.
