Playbox of delights
PLAYBOX opened its doors to preschool children in 1991 for a 2.5 hour session each day.
At this time there were four staff and 30 children on role.

Today we open for six hours a day and have 120 children on role with 16 qualified team members.
Our aim is to work in partnership with parents to create a safe, secure, stimulating and fun environment, where children feel inspired by supportive adults to explore and engage in activities.

A community based pre-school, Playbox is a registered charity and a member of the Pre-School Learning Alliance.
A committee of volunteer parents hold regular informal meetings to administer it.
We are situated in Pennycross Methodist Church, Pridham Road, Peverell.
