Plenty in Santa's store
SANTA swapped reindeer power for horsepower at the weekend as he greeted queues of festive fans on a Harley Davidson.
Chaplin's superstore, in Plympton, opened its Santa's Grotto on Saturday where crowds of parents waited with their excited children to see the round-bellied, bearded face of Christmas.
Other celebrities to join him included TV and radio presenter David Fitzgerald, children's favourite Peppa Pig, BBC's Pudsey Bear, from Children in Need, and Falklands veteran Simon Weston, who was signing copies of his new book.
Chaplin's have staged the grotto for more than 25 years, with thousands of children visiting every year.
