KT Tunstall and Jools Holland at Plymouth Pavilions
CHRISTMAS at Plymouth Pavilions has to include a visit from our favourite boogie man Jools Holland with his fabulous Rhythm & Blues Orchestra.
So we can expect another euphoric big band extravaganza tonight from the Later... host and his crew, featuring tracks from his most recent offering, The Golden Age of Song.
As usual he's invited an array of special guests for the party and this time he's bringing along folk-pop sensation KT Tunstall, last seen in the region headlining Chagstock.
Her appearance is no coincidence as it was after stepping in at the last moment for a 'no-show' guest on Later... With Jools Holland, some years ago now, that she got her big break.

"It was all so last minute, I was touring and in York when I had this phone call to say there's been a cancellation on Later," says KT.
"So I jumped on a train, fortunately didn't really have time to think, went and recorded the show then came back and continued with the tour.
"After the performance I knew I'd nailed it – at least not messed up – but it soon became apparent how big a deal it was. After that everything took off."
Eye To The Telescope, stuffed with wonderfully up-vibe accessible folk pop tunes, including her TV debut Black Horse and the Cherry Tree, became a worldwide hit and the follow up, Drastic Fantastic, went platinum.
There'll be plenty of opportunity to hear her folksy hits in the big band mix.
Also in the line-up listen up for Ruby Turner, Louise Marshall and acclaimed trombonist Rico Rodriguez. Support comes from Nell Bryden.
