this year at the Community Centre and sisters Angela Stephens and Nicola
Marshall hope it will be even busier than the previous events.
The sisters formed Plym Events just over a year ago with
the aim of supporting Local Independent Traders by offering them somewhere
affordable and well advertised to promote their goods and services. At the same time they offer the community an
alternative buying experience – the traders are local and most of the goods/services
are not found on the High Street.
Angela is an Independent Phoenix Trader offering
beautiful affordable cards and stationery – and has some lovely Advent
Calendars for this time of year. Nicola
is a Reflexologist and LOV skincare and cosmetics Consultant offering some
fabulous products and will also have gift vouchers for Reflexology and Indian
Cham****age available.
They stand firmly by their ethos of 'Variety 4 All' -
there will only be one trader per product type/service at each event therefore
giving a fantastic variety of choice to their visitors. In addition, to support the traders and visitors
alike, there is no charge to visit the event.
The feedback from both traders and visitors has been
positive and the girls are planning to hold more events at the same venue next
year as well as a couple of dates at a new venue – details will be posted on
their Facebook page – www.facebook.com/PlymEvents
and website www.plymevents.co.uk when
finalised.
In the meantime why not pop along to Plymstock Community
Centre on the 17th between 11am and 3pm to either have a browse or
do some Christmas shopping.
There will be jewellery, aromatherapy products,
crystals, photographic art/pencil drawings, hand sewn and knitted items,
baby/toddler goods and clothes, Oriental Face Massage tasters, cakes, glitter
tattoos, plus much much more.
Refreshments will be available and it's FREE entry! There will also be a free prize draw.
