Plymouth Argyle 2 Southend United 2
TWO last minute goals saved Plymouth Argyle from defeat against their former boss at Home Park.
Argyle entered the second half 2-0 down and almost ended the game that way as they battled Paul Sturrock's Southend.
-

Michael Timlin scored the first for Southend straight after kick-off, and David Martin put Argyle 2-0 down in the 33rd.
Then in the 85th minute Nick Chadwick managed to pull the score back with a right-footed kick from 20 yards out.
On-loan Alex MacDonald, making his debut for the Pilgrims, scored a second two minutes later to level the score.
The only game to survive the weather in League Two moved the Shrimpers into second place, above Swindon, whose game against Burton Albion joined the rest of the league’s fixtures in being postponed due to a frozen pitch.

“Much more enjoyable banter (far less intense) than on PASOTI or ATD. You have to enjoy life and following the Argyle.”

@plymgeorge it may be my brother your thinking of,he was based at the Air ministry near Stoke on Trent, married a local girl and has lived in Cheadle ever since.

“@plymgeorge. I am unemployed as it happens. Fortunately I don't need to work. My guess is that yourself and alabar1 are both retired English teachers. Am I right?
@FOXFAN999. Just our way of making light of the dire situation our club is in.”

“@TheMercenary
Sorry to disappoint you old chap, but you are barking up the wrong tree here, I expect you are an unemployed person trying to impress by pretending to have some sort of shrink background.
But if it makes you happy , why not ,all to his own.
Well done Argyle by the way good fight back, the rest of Februarys games look interesting could be our chance to pick up a few wins.”

“@alabar1 and plymgeorge. Just an observation but having studied your comments, there are many similarities suggesting to me that you are probably one and the same. For instance, leaving a space between the word and a comma. Then there are the long drawn out sentences. If you speak as you type, you would hardly have the time to draw breath. It's highly unlikely that two people would do exactly the same.”

“@alabar1,I think I might know your brother , was he in the RAF stationed in Staffordshire ?
I was stationed there as well and a Plymouth chap who used to play for the station team was given a trail at WEST BROM a few of the lads went along to support him ,as I remember nothing came of it but I think he played in a couple of games for the combined services team at the time.
Don"t know what happened to him after demob.”

“@alabar1. Hi mate. Back from my cruise. I don't know. I go away for a few weeks and come home to find you're still upsetting everybody. You make me laugh though. You're probably stuck in the sand bunker right now, digging yourself in an even deeper hole as usual. Bless.”
