DEFENDER Anthony Charles has been ruled out of Plymouth Argyle's away game against Chesterfield on Saturday.
Charles suffered a recurrence of a groin injury in the first half of the 2-0 win at Southend United on Tuesday night.

He was replaced at centre-back Paul Wotton, who went on to give the Pilgrims the lead with a 57th minute penalty.

He missed the next two matches, with Wotton taking over from him at centre-back, before being recalled to play against Southend.
Meanwhile, striker Warren Feeney and defender Curtis Nelson were returning to training with Argyle this afternoon.
Feeney has been out of action since sustaining an ankle injury in the 2-1 victory over Morecambe at Home Park on January 12.
That was John Sheridan's first match as the Pilgrims' boss after succeeding Carl Fletcher.
Nelson has been sidelined by a persistent groin problem since the 0-0 draw a home to Accrington Stanley on January 26.

“and who would you drop for Lester, Reid who's just scored a great goal in his best performance so far or Banton who's scored 5 in 9/10 games?
Lester is 38 this year, good player in his time, but for how long can he keep it up? If he could play now, maybe, but next season? no, we can do better.”

“Oh dear how sad, now I am willing to take any bit of help or assistance to ensure we get a result Saturday at Chesterfield. Just heard that their top scorer, Jack Lester has just come out and said that he will be leaving the club in April at the end of the season. He thought he would be offered a new contract but nothing will be coming his way. He has said now that Chesterfield are very unlikely to be promoted he thought he would tell clubs now in case someone comes in for him.
Bit of turmoil in the Chesterfield camp now that Jack has throw his dummy out? Oh I do hope so, I have to thrive on others misfortune but needs must and if we can gain any advantage then lets do so.
Can't imagine he'll be playing Saturday can you, loyalty and footballers don't come hand in hand so would he try if selected or stick 2 fingers up.
Oh I hope I'm right, got to happen one day
Reckon we can sign him before Saturday :) :)”

“Isn't it amazing, a good set of results and now JS is the dogs!!! How fickle some football fans are, couple of defeats ago and it was all doom and gloom and some supporters wanted him hung drawn and then shot. Seem that some need to realise that you stick with the team through good and bad times and not just compliment then when things are going well and slate everyone connected to PAFC when they lose.
I hope this new stricker that JS is talking about is not Feeney!! he's on the mend, rsumed training but please dont tell me its him, prolific and Feeney are not two words you would normally put together
Shame about Charles but hey we've done OK without him recently
Bring on Chesterfield, boys are raring to go”
