PLYMOUTH Argyle needs YOU in their fight against relegation from the Football League.

Argyle – battling to retain their Football League status, which they have proudly held for 93 years since 1920 – now have only nine games left to save themselves and just four of them are in front of their adoring Green Army at Home Park.

The Greens need to make those games count and need bumper crowds to help them.
In their last Saturday home game, Argyle were roared on by a crowd of more than 8,200 to a crucial 2-1 win over Barnet.
The Pilgrims hope for another big gate – and priceless three points – this weekend against Fleetwood.

“Oh how I laugh! ...PAFC needs you! ?... actually may I remind you that it's not the fans who part with their hard earned cash each week who play on the pitch! .... that's the players who get paid a fairly good wedge, chosen by a manager, who gets a fairly goodwedge!..... so in actual fact, PAFC needs a team who know where the goal is, who can put the ball in the back of a net, to enable them to win a game and drag themselves out of this mess! .. but I fear its too late, non league is waiting! !”

“I think that once again this shocking reporting is missing the point. Many people have stuck with Argyle and paid money to see dire football week after week. It's the PAFC Board that needs to get behind the team. The shortfalls may be covered week after week (oh and which will one day have to be repaid) - but where's the investment in good quality players who are actually signed. And talking of the debt - what is the impact of relegation on the financial situation? I've been very positive about the positive impact of having new facilities such as the Grandstand to generate more income - but hearing that a school could be situated under it and therefore taking up shed loads of space is not comforting. The PAFC Board desperately needs some coaching and advice in how to treat its loyal supporters - as I'm getting worried that more and more will walk with the current information vacuum!”
