Plymouth Argyle sign new striker
PLYMOUTH Argyle have boosted their attacking options with the signing of Reading striker Gozie Ugwu.
The 19-year-old has arrived on a one-month 'youth loan' taking him up to and including the game against Oxford United at Home Park on February 16.

However, the deal can be extended for the rest of the season on the agreement of all parties.
Ugwu, who will wear the number 18 shirt for Argyle, is the third signing made by John Sheridan since his appointment as manager.

The young striker spent the first part of this season on loan to League One outfit Yeovil Town.
Ugwu made five starts and 13 substitute appearances for the Glovers in all competitions and scored three goals.
He also featured for Yeovil in a pre-season friendly against Argyle at Dorchester Town in July.
Ugwu has yet to play for Reading at first team level but was an unused substitute when they won 3-1 away to Crawley Town in the FA Cup third round on January 5.
Argyle's attacking options have been reduced by a six-match suspension to Nick Chadwick and a foot injury to Warren Feeney.
Chadwick will be out until after the visit of Oxford next month while Feeney is set to be sidelined for six to eight weeks after limping out of the home game against Morecambe last Saturday.

“Probably not what the fans were hoping for, but then we were never going to get van Persil to clean up for us. Provided the weather doesn't affect Saturday's game we should him strutting his stuff for Argyle against Southend, best of lick to him and let's hope he does us proud.
At least he is a big lad, mobile and full of youthful exuberance, throw in a few goals and we will be happy. If he does make an impact then we will see him until the end of term, that would be most beneficial to both him and us.
