Plymouth Calendar Girls' calendar raises £11,000 for Macmillan
PLYMOUTH'S very own Calendar Girls have raised more than £10,800 for Macmillan Cancer Support with their seventh edition 2011-2012 calendar competition.
Creator and organiser Myles Lockwood said: "This could never happen without the help of everyone involved, so it's an amazing result for us by all standards."
The two cheques were received by Sian Harris, who is the regional fundraiser for Macmillan Cancer Support.
She said: "All of our services are funded by donations, so having support from Plymouth Calendar Girls is great."
