Former Plymouth Devil Danny Stoneman wins British under-21 championship semi-final at St Boniface Arena
DANNY STONEMAN made a successful return to the St Boniface Arena in the semi-final of the British under-21 championship.
He scored 10 points from his four rides on Saturday to book a place in the final at Dudley on April 23.

The meeting was curtailed after 16 of the scheduled 20 heats because of the 9.30pm curfew with a number of races having to be re-run as the young riders struggled to come to terms with the wet and slippery track after heavy showers.
Stoneman, a former Plymouth rider who now races for Isle of Wight, finished level on points with Oliver Greenwood (Coventry) and Darryl Ritchings (Isle of Wight), but took first place after the three riders drew lots.

Williamson and Shane Hazelden (King's Lynn) tied on seven points, but Williamson took the seventh and final place in the Dudley meeting because he finished ahead of Hazelden when the pair met in heat four.
