Plymouth cubs awarded the highest awards
EIGHT cubs from 1st Plympton Harewood Pack have been awarded the highest achievable award whilst being a cub scout.
The cubs, Daniel Barron, Lewis Richards, Aaron Dixon, Daniel Rowe, Ewan Smale, Ryan Easterbrook, Toby Crutchley and Joseph Jenkins, all completed tasks from a set of six challenges to pick up the coveted Chief Scout Silver Award.

The boys, aged seven to eight-years-old, completed a wide range of activities including trying out new sports, learning about global issues, being creative and understanding fitness.
They also learnt outdoor skills such as camping, cooking with a camp fire and map reading.

Angela May, chairperson of the fundraising committee, said: "The cubs should feel very proud of themselves because very few of them get to this stage.
"They have had to work hard to earn this award but the skills learnt will stay with them for life."
