Plymouth drugs supply case defendant dies
A STONEHOUSE man awaiting sentence for supplying heroin and cocaine to two undercover police officers has died.
William Hayes, aged 50 and of St Mary Street, Stonehouse, pleaded guilty to three counts of supplying class A drugs as long ago as last November.

But sentence was indefinitely postponed at Plymouth Crown Court because he was terminally ill.
Sally Daulton, for the Crown Prosecution Service, addressing a monthly review hearing before the court, said he had died at a hospice.
