“In addition, if you 'work' more than 16 hours even if unpaid, and declare it as such, you are declared working full time, not told that your claim has been stopped, and your money's stop that week. After three weeks of not being told (including getting a replacement signing in form) was told it was 'an automatic response by the computer' - well it should inform that person it is no longer in receipt of benefits, which it does not.”

“Rubbish. More and more JSA claimants are being placed on sanctions (now up to 3 years without benefits) and workfare schemes. These people are then removed off of the official unemployment figures.”
